Match abandoned due to rain



Rain has forced the tri-series one-day match between Sri Lanka and New Zealand to be called off for a second day on Friday.
The match was originally scheduled on Thursday and was called off without a ball being bowled.
Both teams were awarded two points each for the match.
New Zealand captain won the toss and invited Sri Lanka to bat first and they were 203-3 in the 44th over when the rain started.
Mahela Jayawardene was unbeaten on 59, having scored his 55th one-day international half-century with Chamara Silva on 41 at the stoppage.
Black Caps seam bowler Scott Styris took three wickets for 36 runs.

Sri Lanka: Kumar Sangakkara (capt), Tillakaratne Dilshan, Upul Tharanga, Mahela Jayawardene, Angelo Mathews, Chamara Silva, Chamara Kapugedera, Nuwan Kulasekara, Ajantha Mendis, Rangana Herath, Lasith Malinga.
New Zealand: Ross Taylor (capt), Peter Ingram, B.J. Watling, Kane Williamson, Scott Styris, Jacob Oram, Gareth Hopkins, Nathan McCullum, Kyle Mills, Daryl Tuffey, Grant Elliott.
