Dhoni unhappy with practice pitches

Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was unhappy with the practice pitches, here, on Saturday.
Even as his team-mates were going through the training session, Dhoni left for the pavilion after completing a brief batting stint.
Team manager Ranjib Biswal told The Hindu, "Dhoni was unhappy with the practice pitches. He felt the bounce was uneven. But he did not walk away. He batted against the pacemen and the spinners and was later sitting in the pavilion."
Mr. Biswal added, "We have not lodged a protest but have asked the authorities here for better practice wickets. The captain wants pitches with more consistent bounce at the nets."
Earlier, Dinesh Karthik was hit on the knuckles by a rearing delivery from one of the young promising local pacemen bowling at the Indians. Mr. Biswal said, "Karthik was struck on his fingers but there is
nothing to worry about. He should be fine."
He added paceman Munaf Patel had joined the team.
