Putting up his one of the best performances in the recent past, Somdev Devvarman entered the singles semifinals of the ATP Challenger event in Aptos, United States after a hard earned win over Alex Bogdanovic.
The second seed Indian beat the seventh seed Briton 7-5 4-6 6-0 in the quarter-finals of the $ 75,000 hard court event.
Somdev will next face American third seed Donald Young, who beat Serbia’s Ilija Bozoljac6—3 6—4 in his last—eight stage match.
Somdev had beaten Young last year at the Delray Beach qualifying event.
